Voith Fabrics to supply rebuild of Stora Enso Baienfurt, Germany, KM 3.

 FABRICS TO SUPPLY REBUILD OF STORA ENSO


Stora Enso Oyj (NYSE: SEO, ) is a Finnish–Swedish pulp and paper manufacturer, formed by the merger of Swedish mining and forestry products company Stora and Finnish forestry products company Enso-Gutzeit Oy in 1998.

Voith Paper has received an order for a major rebuild of Stora Enso's KM 3 in Baienfurt, Germany. Voith Fabrics was chosen as startup (STARTing UP) "At startup" means when the computer is first turned on or when a program is first loaded. See Startup folder.  supplier with 100% Voith Fabrics in the press and the dryer section. Due to the close cooperation between Voith Fabrics and Voith Paper it was possible to choose the optimum clothing early in the project phase. Included in the order is a complete rebuild of the press section as well as extensions in the dryer section. The rebuild will increase production 20% and improve product quality. KM 3 was originally built in 1970 by Voith Paper and has recently undergone modifications. Startup of the rebuild will be February 2004.
