Voith Fabrics is G-P Europe supplier of the year.

Voith Fabrics was selected by the Georgia-Pacific Corp., European division, as its 2003 Supplier of the Year in the paper machine clothing category. During a two-day event held in Oostende, Belgium, in early June, suppliers were awarded as the best in their respective categories. Voith Fabrics, the only clothing supplier to receive the honor, was presented with a Bronze Award for providing the most consistent product quality and the press fabrics with the lowest average energy consumption across all of G-P's 12 European mills during 2003. G-P also recognized Voith Fabrics for bringing the most to the mills and to the R & D group with regard to new product innovations. The event brought together 131 participants--48 attending from G-P Europe and 83 representing more than 50 different suppliers.
