Universal Medical Products' (UMP) Sentry With Voice uses a recordable message (up to 15 seconds long) to give instructions when unauthorized resident movement occurs. The device uses a familiar or reassuring voice, directing residents to resume their position in bed or chair. The voice message stops as soon as the resident returns to place.

Sentry With Voice works with all UMP bed-, chair- and floor-monitoring pads. The unit includes volume control and selectable alarm/chime modes. It works well to protect residents with Alzheimer's disease or dementia since a familiar voice would not frighten them as a traditional alarm could.
