Vodavi debuts STARPLUS STS. (New Products).

Vodavi Technology, Inc., a provider of traditional and next-gen business telecommunications solutions, has introduced its newest product, the STARPLUS STS. STS stands for "Small Telephone System" and is targeted for any small to mid-size business. The STARPLUS STS was introduced as an economically priced phone system that includes communications functions important to a productive small business environment. Vodavi offers full or fractional T1 support on this system as well as in-skin or integrated voice mail and expansion capability. Among the features of this system are onboard caller I.D., computer-telephony integration (CTI) capability and PBX/ Centrex compatibility. The STARPLUS STS is available in a basic or expanded system option. The basic system comes standard with four Central Office (CO) line ports, eight digital station ports and two analog ports and can grow to a maximum of 12 CO lines, 24 digital stations and two analog ports. For applications requiring more system capacity, the STARPLUS STS ex panded cabinet option is available and provides for a maximum configuration of 24 CO lines, 48 digital stations and two analog ports. The eight-port in-skin voice mail option has 64 mailboxes and three hours of message storage that is expandable to nine hours. The voice mail card plugs directly into the phone system itself, helping make it more affordable for small businesses by eliminating the need for more costly external equipment without reducing the port capacity of the system. The STS phone has 24 flexible buttons that can be programmed to monitor stations in use, enable one-touch speed dial or to enable system features such as Do-Not Disturb (DND), All Call Page, etc. In addition, to complete CTI capability, the phone also has three interactive soft keys on the display to allow for scrollable access to preprogrammed, commonly used features, a standard 2.5 mm headset jack and Additional Device Port (ADP) for fax or modem connection. www.vodavi.com/800-843-4863
