Vivascience AG: Vivapure C18 Micro Spin Columns - Effective Sample Concentration with Minimal Hands-on Time.

HANOVER, Germany -- Vivascience AG Introduces New Spin Columns for Improved Sample Preparation Prior to Mass Spectrometry

Vivascience AG has expanded its product range for the proteomic workflow. In addition to the existing products for improved 2D-PAGE sample preparation, Vivascience is now also offering spin columns for sample preparation prior to mass spectrometry.

The new Vivapure C18 Micro spin columns contain an innovative C18-membrane and are ideally suited for concentration, purification and desalting of peptides prior to analysis.

All steps are performed under standardized working conditions in a centrifuge, giving rise to highly reproducible results. The spin columns allow processing of relatively large sample volumes - up to 200 microlitre can be loaded per centrifuge run. Elution elution /elu·tion/ (e-loo´shun) in chemistry, separation of material by washing; the process of pulverizing substances and mixing them with water in order to separate the heavier constituents, which settle out in solution, from the  is performed in 3 microlitre and is optionally possible with matrix containing solutions.

Vivapure C18 Micro spin columns represent an ideal tool for the preparation of mass spectrometry samples like MALDI MALDI Matrix-Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization , MALDI-TOF MALDI-TOF Matrix Assisted Laser Desorption Ionization - Time of Flight  and ESI (Edge Side Includes) A markup language for Web pages that enables elements of a Web page to be dynamically assembled in servers distributed throughout the Internet.  samples. The centrifugal format offers convenient handling of several samples in parallel and minimal hands on time without tedious pipetting.
