 Aquarium aquarium, name for any supervised exhibit of aquatic animals and plants. Aquariums are known to have been constructed in ancient Rome, Egypt, and Asia. Goldfish have been bred in China for several hundred years and are still the most commonly kept fish in home , the Museum of National History, the Queens Farm Museum and even as far afield as Lake Welch Welch , William Henry 1850-1934.

The Migdol Family Foundation, in conjunction with Taft's Anne R. Bradshaw, director, designed the $7,000 five-day a week, nine-week program to enhance the lives of young Taft residents. In addition to organizing the transportation for the outings, The Migdol Foundation provided the children with lunches and Taft T-shirts.
