VisionShape today introduced ClearCheck, a complete, desktop remittance processing system for NACHA ARC (Accounts Receivable) truncation, which is based on VisionShape's successful AutoScan batch processing software.

The system is designed to handle volumes of between 500 and 5,000 items per day, depending on the check scanner selected.

The ClearCheck System includes a high-speed check scanner with automatic MICR line reader, the ClearCheck software which creates data strings of the captured information for easy configuration to ARC format, and the latest version of VisonShape's AutoScan batch scanning software with MICR recognition, OCR and barcode recognition, with output images that can be stored as TIF, JPEG or PDF. The user remittance processor can select from VisionShape's CS-500T, 550T, CS-380 or CS-370 check and small document scanners, which are connected through certified ISIS or TWAIN drivers. The CS-500 and 550T scanners are targeted at remittance processors who handle up to 5,000 items per day, while the CS-370 and 380's are designed for low volume remittance processors or remote collection agencies who process up to 500 payments a day.
