Virtutech to Present at Power Architecture Developer Conference 2007 on the Use of Software Configurable Virtual Platforms to Debug Multi-Core Applications.

Virtutech Virtutech was founded in 1998 as a spin-off from the Swedish Institute of Computer Science (SICS), in Stockholm, Sweden. In 2004, the headquarters was moved to San Jose, California, USA. The Stockholm site remains the company's R&D center. , Inc.:
WHAT: Virtutech, Inc., the leading provider of virtualized software
development solutions, will discuss techniques for analyzing
and debugging multi-core software using high-fidelity and
high-performance SOC and system models at the Power
Architecture Developer Conference, the first-ever forum
dedicated to providing robust and challenging educational
curriculum on Power Architecture technology. Additionally,
Virtutech Simics technology will be showcased at pedestal
        number 507.

WHY: In the face of increased complexity introduced by multi-core
environments, simulation has established itself as a powerful
development and debugging tool that enables developers to
unleash the full potential of multi-core technology. Ross
Dickson, principal technology specialist for Virtutech, will
discuss how high-fidelity and high-performance SOC and system
models can be used to reduce risk, improve time-to-market and
increase quality of systems that utilize multi-core and
        multi-processor architectures.
