VirtualAcademics.com, Inc. (OTCBB:VADC) announced today that in December 1999, the Company had completed a merger designed to better position the company to expand its share of the Distance Learning Market and has unveiled a new company name and stock symbol to better represent the business of the Company to the investment community.

In December 1999, the Company consummated the purchase of shares of Donnebrooke Corporation (OTCBB:DONB) pursuant to a Purchase Agreement by and among Donnebrooke, Halter Capital Corporation, International Education Group, LLC ("IEG") and the members of IEG. The members of IEG transferred their interests, consisting of all of the capital stock of Barrington University, Inc., an Alabama corporation, Barrington University, Inc., a Florida corporation and Spanish University of America Foundation, Inc., a Florida corporation, to Donnebrooke Corporation, which then changed its name to VirtualAcademics.com (VADC).

VADC, through its subsidiaries, Barrington University and The Spanish University of America has been a pioneer in Distance Learning. The Company has enjoyed steady revenue growth throughout its 7 year history and its student population has grown by over 40% per year. VADC has clients/students earning accredited university degrees in 43 countries and learning and training in 6 languages (English, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, Portuguese and Arabic).
