n. pl. at the Virginia School of the Arts School of the Arts is the name of several schools (usually high schools) that are devoted to the fine arts, including: - Brooklyn High School of the Arts, Brooklyn, New York

. Once a soloist with The Royal Ballet Royal Ballet, the principal British ballet company, based at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London. It is noted for lavish dramatic productions, a superbly disciplined corps de ballet, and brilliant performances from its principals. , Bosman describes his 19 years teaching at VSA VSA (in New Zealand) Voluntary Service Abroad as "quite a ride." When he arrived, the school was on the brink of dosing because only seven students were enrolled. He refused to let it shut down, so he invited several former students who had become professionals to perform a gala event he called "An Evening of Elegance." The performance not only made enough money to keep the studio doors open, but it also put the school on the map. Since then, Bosman has consistently sent graduating students on to dance in prestigious ballet and modern companies, Broadway productions, and college dance programs.
