community outreach for Dance Theatre of Harlem Dance Theatre of Harlem, the first black classical ballet company. director of VIRGINIA SCHOOL OF THE ARTS School of the Arts is the name of several schools (usually high schools) that are devoted to the fine arts, including: - Brooklyn High School of the Arts, Brooklyn, New York
- Charleston County School of the Arts, Charleston, South Carolina
in Lynchburg. MARTHA FAESI has
been appointed as VSA VSA (in New Zealand) Voluntary Service Abroad director of dance. Faesi joined the school in 1997
as ballet mistress and has choreographed works for the VSA annual
performances.
