("Virginia") is pleased to announce the new results of the current exploration program on its Eleonore property (100% Virginia), located in the Opinaca reservoir area, James Bay James Bay, shallow southern arm of Hudson Bay, c.300 mi (480 km) long and 140 mi (230 km) wide, E central Canada, in Nunavut Territory between Ont. and Que. Numerous rivers flow into the bay; many of these have been developed for hydroelectric power in Quebec (see .Since the news release of December 13, 2004, eleven (11) additional holes (ELE-04-41 to ELE-04-51) have been drilled and complementary analysis results of previous holes were received. ROBERTO ZONE Many new holes were drilled to complete the pattern drilling in the south portion of the Roberto zone to a vertical depth of 250 m. These holes have confirmed the continuity of the Roberto zone and many good mineralized min·er·al·ize v. min·er·al·ized, min·er·al·iz·ing, min·er·al·iz·es v.tr. 1. To convert to a mineral substance; petrify. 2. To transform a metal into a mineral by oxidation. 3. intersections were obtained, including 12.87 g/t Au over 11.0 m (ELE-04-44), 15.07 g/t Au over 7.0 m (ELE-05-50), 8.84 g/t Au over 5.0 m (ELE-04-43), and 14.57 g/t Au over 4.0 m (ELE-05-46) (see longitudinal section). Three (3) holes have also tested at depth the north extension of the Roberto zone.These holes all have intersected the mineralized zones and results from holes 35 and 41 in particular are considered very significant as they prove for the first time the presence of the Roberto zone to the north of section 31+00N, suggesting that the zone could open at depth towards the north. Besides, hole ELE-05-51, testing the zone at level -250 m on section 30+00N, has intersected at this level a brittle (jargon) brittle - Said of software that is functional but easily broken by changes in operating environment or configuration, or by any minor tweak to the software itself. Also, any system that responds inappropriately and disastrously to abnormal but expected external stimuli; e. fault that explains the absence of mineralisation at the expected depth. ZONE ROBERTO EST Many holes have tested the south portion of the Roberto Est zone to a vertical depth of more than 225 m (see longitudinal section). These holes have cross cut many economic mineralized intersections. Best results are 19.62 g/t Au over 11.0 m (HW) and 22.02 g/t Au over 4.0 m (FW) in hole ELE-05-46, 5.48 g/t Au over 13.0 m (FW) in hole ELE-05-48 and 10.32 g/t Au over 2.35 m (FW) in hole ELE-04-43.The zone remains open towards the south and seems to plunge towards the north at depth. Holes ELE-04-35, 40 and 41 have also proved the vertical continuity of the Roberto Est zonein its north portion to a depth of 200 m. Holes drilled in this sector have returned intersections of 3.87 g/t Au over 4.5 m (FW) in hole ELE-04-35, as well as 10.12 g/t Au over 6.25 m (HW) and 12.52 g/t Au over 5.0 m (FW) in hole ELE-04-41.The zone remains totally open towards the north and at depth. Virginia is very much encouraged by these results, which significantly increase the known extensions of the Roberto and Roberto Est zones that remain open towards the north and the south and at depth.Besides, Virginia will soon mobilize mo·bi·lize v. 1. In 2004 Virginia has set up an Analytical Quality Assurance Program to control and assure the analytical quality of assays in its gold exploration. This program includes the systematic addition of blank samples and certified See certification. standards to each batch samples sent for analysis at commercial laboratories. Blank samples are used to check for possible contamination in laboratories while certified standards determine the analytical accuracy and precision. Samples are sent for assaying to Laboratoire Expert Inc. in Rouyn-Noranda. Samples are assayed by fire-assay followed by atomic absorption or gravimetry gra·vim·e·ter n. 1. For every significant mineralized intersection, 10% of the samples (1 to 2 per intersection) are quarter split and the core is sent to a second certified laboratory.Furthermore, each pulp from the quarter split is returned to the first laboratory for a second gold analysis in order to cross check the analytical reproducibility.
