Since 2006 Brilliant had worked at the Cleveland Museum of Art Located in the University Circle neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio, the internationally renowned Cleveland Museum of Art has a permanent collectionof more than 40,000 objects in 70 galleries. as a post-doctoral fellow in the department of medieval art, specializing in Italian Renaissance art. Her M.A. and Ph.D. are from the Courtauld Institute of Art The Courtauld Institute of Art is a self-governing college of the University of London specialising in the study of the history of art. The Institute is probably the most prestigious and specialist college for the study of the history of art in the world and was awarded a top 5* at the University of London For most practical purposes, ranging from admission of students to negotiating funding from the government, the 19 constituent colleges are treated as individual universities. Within the university federation they are known as Recognised Bodies , where she wrote her thesis on "Envisaging the Particular Judgment in Trecento tre·cen·to n. The 14th century, especially with reference to Italian art and literature. [Italian, from (mil) trecento, (one thousand) three hundred : tre, three Italy."
