The crisp focus brushstrokes permit a view of close proximity to the surface of the artwork. Anyone will engage in delight at the descriptive words which the editor has tastefully taste·ful adj. 1. Having, showing, or being in keeping with good taste. 2. Pleasing in flavor; tasty. taste arranged to rhyme: "a jug in squares of blue and white/twelve flowers that are light on light."
