Vikram Gandhi Appointed Head of CSFB's Global Financial Institutions Group.

 -- Credit Suisse First Boston Credit Suisse First Boston was originally the trading name of the Financière Crédit Suisse-First Boston, a London-based 50-50 investment banking joint venture formed in 1978 between the First Boston Corporation and Credit Suisse.  is pleased to announce that Vikram Gandhi is joining as Head of the Firm's newly enhanced Global Financial Institutions Group (FIG).

Mr. Gandhi will be responsible for integrating all of the Firm's financial institutions' capabilities into the Global Financial Institutions Group. This will include client coverage and the development and delivery of solutions to our FIG client base in a wide range of advisory and financing products, including derivatives and structured products.

Mr. Gandhi will be based in New York, and report jointly to Marc Granetz and Eric Varvel, Global Co-Heads of Corporate and Investment Banking, and Jim Healy Jim Healy (born 1923-died July 22, 1994) was a longtime Los Angeles sports commentator (KLAC, 1961-65; KFWB, 1969; KABC, 1969-84; KLAC, 1973-82; KMPC, 1984-94), whose daily solo radio show featured a number of sound effects and audio clips of famous sports personalities, which he , Global Head of Fixed Income. Mark Ellman will continue as Head of the Financial Institutions Group within the Corporate and Investment Banking business and will report to Mr. Gandhi.

He was also one of the founders, and was key in implementing, Morgan Stanley's Relationship Management Program in institutional securities. Mr. Gandhi joined Morgan Stanley's financial institutions practice in 1995 and then served as President of Morgan Stanley - India from 1997 until 1999, Chief Operating Officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)
