Ltd., a leader in global telecommunications services, today announced the North American launch of One-Connection USA, Inc., its technology infrastructure franchise partner in the United States. One-Connection Pte. Ltd. is a unit of EIS, Inc., a provider of telecom and Internet services with headquarters in Vietnam and Singapore and customers throughout the world. One-Connection USA will operate as a One-Connection Network Franchisee (OCNF) for EIS, owning and operating its new-generation telecommunications infrastructure in the United States in accordance with One-Connection's global franchise standards.

The OCNF system One-Connection USA to provide fixed U.S. phone numbers to subscribers anywhere in the world. EIS' technology turns these fixed phone numbers into registered numbers from One-Connection's new-generation communications network. These unique Follow-Me Numbers(TM) also replace international roaming charges on cell phones and global calling cards. One-Connection subscribers can be reached wherever they are.

One-Connection Number

The first of its kind in the United States, a One-Connection Follow-Me Number looks exactly like regular U.S. phone numbers. One-Connection applies its proprietary technology to these familiar numbers to create a new-generation of unlimited communication possibilities, combining transparent technology with familiar call-making processes that allow subscribers to easily adopt a new standard -- at inexpensive, local phone rates.

Unlike existing services in the US market that forward or assign special numbers for different functions, the same One-Connection Follow-Me Number serves as either a home or business number. In addition to sending and receiving standard voice calls, Internet calls and faxes, subscribers may access services such as SMS, text messaging, voicemail, call forwarding, call screening and more, no matter where in the world they may travel.

Unlike other Internet voice services, One-Connection calls are placed using a regular telephone, cell phone or computer, with no additional hardware necessary. Placing calls from a landline or cell phone, subscribers dial a local phone number and then enter their PIN (Personal Identification Number). The subscriber then dials the desired long distance or international call, or retrieves their voice mails. They pay only for the local call and a small long distance surcharge fee of approximately one-fifth the price of a typical long-distance call.

When dialing through a computer, the One-Connection software turns the subscriber's Internet-connected PC or Wi-Fi PDA into a versatile phone set/fax-receiving machine. Dial an International Direct Dial number, and the software automatically finds the desired party in any country, at the cost of a local call.

One-Connection users may receive faxes and calls directly from their Internet-connected PC or calls may be forwarded to any other cell phone or fixed phone.

Like many phone plans available today, calls between subscribers are free, however One-Connection does not require a two- or three-year commitment. Companies equipping a worldwide sales or corporate team with One-Connection numbers pay no long distance charges for connections between employees.

One-Connection's Open Business Structure

The new company is unique in its franchise-like business model. Globally, the network is easily expandable through local OCNF partners and subsequent co-owners, who install and operate infrastructure according to One-Connection standards.
