The Xenon Streamer provides the Fast Channel Switching module, which maintains multiple live channels on the server side, and switches between channels inside one streaming session for faster channel switching, rather than establishing another streaming channel. Through this new module, Xenon users can now quickly browse TV channels and program information for a seamless live TV viewing experience.

"We've been using Vidiator's Xenon streaming platform for some time now and the new mobile TV fast channel switching deployment allows our customers to surf TV live channels on their mobile handsets, like a TV remote control, switching between channels with fewer keystrokes," said Johan Othelius, Nordic Director, Products and Services, 3 Scandinavia.
