Seamlessly accepting any interlaced or non-interlaced RGB input from virtually any workstation or desktop computer, the RGB/Videolink model 1690 scan converter from RGB Spectrum can synchronise to all computer signals with screen resolutions up to 1600 x 1280 pixels and with scan rates from 15 kHz to 90 kHz. The 1690 will measure the input signal and create the parameters for sharpest picture, correct aspect ratio and output size. S-video, composite and component analogue video output features in either NTSC or Pal standards are available, with a SMPTE 259M digital output offered as an option. The RGB/Videolink 1690 includes an RS-232 port for remote control, and the unit has a non-volatile memory wherein programmable setups can be saved for future instant call-up.
