Vicon Industries, Inc., of Hauppauge, New York, has introduced the Kollector Lite SG, a value priced network DVR for use with ViconNet digital and IP based video management software. The 16-channel unit can be networked with an unlimited number of other units with a ViconNet NVR or Kollector Elite SG DVR. The recorders are avail able in models that offer 60 or 120 frames-per-second recording and up to 1 terabyte of local storage. The flexible frame rate adjusts across the number of camera inputs, allowing system designers to adjust inputs per unit. It uses MPEG 4 compression to optimize data and maximize picture quality. Remote setup can be performed from any Kollector Elite or ViconNet workstation on the network. 1217
