Housing Advisory Association opened a newly renovated former Victoria drug house, offering housing and support services support services Psychology Non-health care-related ancillary services–eg, transportation, financial aid, support groups, homemaker services, respite services, and other services for homeless families and single parents whose children have left home, and who find themselves at risk of homelessness. Burnside Gorge Community Association's Homeless Families Outreach Outreach is an effort by an organization or group to connect its ideas or practices to the efforts of other organizations, groups, specific audiences or the general public. Apartments underwent $640,000 in renovations to provide five new affordable housing units. This unique conversion is a result of partnerships between several levels of government and the Pacifica Housing Advisory Association. The capital cost of this project is $640,000, with funding provided through CMHC's Residential Rehabilitation rehabilitation: see physical therapy. Geography ; and Pacifica who provided $50,000 in cash equity. The renovated apartment building includes four units that will provide affordable housing for single parents whose children have left home and who cannot afford typical market accommodation. Pacifica Housing Advisory Association, with Pacifica Housing Services, owns and manages the housing portfolio and provides outreach and support services to homeless and hard-to-house individuals in the community.
