Corporation, releases additional diamond drill results from the Mill Canyon Property in Nevada Nevada (nəvăd`ə, –vä–), far western state of the United States. It is bordered by Utah (E), Arizona (SE), California (SW, W), and Oregon and Idaho (N). . Mill Canyon is a gold and silver exploration property located in the Cortez Mountains The Cortez Mountains are located in central Nevada in the United States. The range lies in a southwest-northeasterly direction between Crescent Valley and Pine Valley. The property is adjacent to the old Cortez Cortez alluded to in a poem by Keats, mistaken for Balboa, as discoverer of Pacific Ocean. [Br. Poetry: “On First Looking into Chapman’s Homer”] See : Error and Horse Canyon Horse canyon is a small canyon near the town of Boulder, Utah. It is one of the three canyons which meet at a fork and turn in to Horse canyon, which is followed down to the Escalante River. Little Death Hollow meets up with Horse canyon about 5 miles in. Cortez Hills gold discovery. Drilling has concentrated on the Open Cut target which is believed to be in a structurally similar environment to the Cortez Mine and the Cortez Hills discovery. A total of 10 holes totaling 2,100 metres have been drilled to date in this section of the Open Cut target. Drilling has identified four high grade "Carlin car·line or car·lin n. Scots A woman, especially an old one. [Middle English kerling, from Old Norse, from karl, man.] Type" gold zones over a minimum width of 185 metres and minimum length of 125 metres. The system is part of a larger structural corridor which is a minimum of 430 metres wide and 4.6 kilometres long, the system remains open along strike and at depth. It is ordinarily white but may be colored by impurities, iron oxide making it brown, yellow, or red and carbon making it blue, black, or gray. The texture varies from coarse to fine. . All gold zones are open along trend and to depth. Zone 1 has the greatest length thus far exceeding an estimated 90 meters within the structural system and 15 to 20 meters in thickness. Drilling is currently testing this zone to significantly increase the length, width to the west, and to access the depth potential. Gold Zones 2, 3 and 4 were encountered during offset drilling from the previously reported hole OC-5. Zones 2 and 3 correspond to previously reported zones 3 and 4 first encountered in OC-5. Zone 4 is a new zone encountered in OC-12. The true widths of the gold zones are currently being defined, but are in the range of approximately 50% to 95% of the intercepts encountered thus far. Victoria is in the process of working out the geometries of the gold zones encountered to date to test possible convergent zones at depth. At lease twelve more decalcified zones of size roughly similar to that of Higher Open Cut are present along the 4.6 kilometre structural corridor and have yet to be drilled. Victoria will continue to test the zones within the higher Open Cut and test the other decalcified zones as permitting allows. Drill core was logged, photographed and diamond saw-cut in half on site.
