, a unit of Intimate Brands, has leased a three-level, 25,000 square-foot flagship store on the northwest corner of Broadway and 67th Street, in the heart of the Lincoln Center Lincoln Center

The 8,500 square-foot site, which was formerly the Regency Regency, in British history, the period of the last nine years (1811–20) of the reign of George III, when the king's insanity had rendered him unfit to rule and the government was vested in the prince of Wales (later George IV) as regent.  movie theater, will house a newly constructed building that will be completed in Fall of 2000.

In an interesting twist, the Brandt Organization, owner and developer of 1981 Broadway, chose to develop the site as a relatively small retail building, as opposed to an 85,000 square-foot, 22-story building allowed under current zoning regulations. The new Victoria's Secret will open across the street from Pottery Barn Pottery Barn is an American-based chain of home furnishing stores with stores in the United States and Canada. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Williams-Sonoma, Inc. History , Sony Theatres, The Gap, Tower Records and Barnes & Noble, the major retailers in Millennium Partners' apartment buildings built over the last few years.
