 obviously recalled Kerry's oft-repeated comment that he was for the war in Iraq before he was against it while referring to the Massachusetts Massachusetts (măsəch`sĭts), most populous of the New England states of the NE United States.  senator's inflammatory expectation that marginally educated Americans would get "stuck" in Iraq.
