Mr. Appel is a seasoned investor relations professional who will provide investor relations services which are designed to build the Company's profile and exposure in the United States and Europe. Mr. Stevenson will advise ViRexx on strategic partnership strategies, possible technology acquisitions and carry out general corporate duties for the benefit of ViRexx in Europe.

The Board of Directors has granted Dr. Griffith, Mr. Gilpin and Dr. Gonneau options (100,000, 125,000 and 125,000 respectively) to purchase shares of the Company. Mr. Stevenson has been granted 100,000 options. As part of the Company's investor relations strategy, Mr. Appel and The Equicom Group Inc. have been granted options (400,000 and 40,000 respectively) to purchase shares of the Company. All options issued to consultants have been granted in accordance with TSX Venture policies. In addition, several employees of ViRexx have been granted 290,000 options to purchase shares of the Company. All options have an exercise price of $0.80 per share. The decision to grant these options will be presented for ratification to the shareholders of ViRexx at the Annual General Meeting to be held on June 17, 2004.
