Vestar Capital Partners Announces New Managing Directors and Vice Presidents.

 -- Vestar Capital Partners, a leading private equity firm, announced that Jean-Francois Felix, Vincent Fesquet and Brian K. Ratzan have been elected managing directors of the firm. In addition, Philippe Glessinger, Erin L. Russell, Oussama Takla, and Kristian M. Whalen were appointed vice presidents.

Mr. Felix joined Vestar's Paris office in 2001. Previously, he was a principal with Equinoxe Industries in Paris, the European affiliate of Dimeling, Schreiber & Park, a U.S.-based private equity investment firm. He also spent three years with McKinsey & Co. in Paris. Jean-Francois received his M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School Harvard Business School, officially named the Harvard Business School: George F. Baker Foundation, and also known as HBS, is one of the graduate schools of Harvard University.  and is a graduate of HEC HEC Hautes Études Commerciales

, Paris. Born and raised in France, Jean-Francois lives in Paris with his wife and three children.

Mr. Fesquet joined Vestar's Paris office in 2001. Previously, he was with BC Partners for four years as a member of their Paris-based team. Before joining BC Partners, Vincent spent seven years with Arthur Andersen For the U.S. Supreme Court case commonly known as Arthur Andersen, see .
Arthur Andersen LLP, based in Chicago, was once one of the "Big Five" accounting firms (the other four are PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Ernst & Young and KPMG), performing
 in Paris. Vincent is a graduate of EDHEC EDHEC Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales du Nord (business school in Lille & Nice, France)  in Lille and currently resides in Paris with his family of two children.

Mr. Ratzan joined Vestar in 1998 and has 10 years of experience in the private equity industry. In addition, he previously served as a member of the Corporate Finance Group at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Mr. Ratzan earned an M.B.A. at the Harvard Business School and is a Phi Beta Kappa Phi Beta Kappa: see fraternity.
