:VCSY) reported today that Robert J. Wagman, a leading Washington, D.C., journalist, author and veteran member of the White House press corps, has been named managing editor of theUSBridge.com, an Internet Web site focusing on the needs and interests of expatriate Americans and their families.

Wagman is best known for his nationally syndicated column, distributed by Scripps Howard's Newspaper Enterprise Association, which for 20 years appeared in some 700 key American and foreign newspapers.

He simultaneously served for 12 years as editor of the World Almanac almanac, originally, a calendar with notations of astronomical and other data. Almanacs have been known in simple form almost since the invention of writing, for they served to record religious feasts, seasonal changes, and the like.  of American Politics and is the author of 18 non-fiction books, including critically acclaimed works on the First Amendment and the Supreme Court.
