Vertex Interactive Receives New Orders of Over $6.2 Million to Install Wireless Supply Chain Management Systems.

VERTEX INTERACTIVE, INC. (NASDAQ-NMS: VETX) ("Vertex" or the "Company"), announced today that it has received new orders totaling over $6.2 million from several prestigious companies to provide a variety of supply chain management solutions. The orders are now being shipped and will be completed over the next three to six months.

The Company has been selected by Estee Lauder Companies (NYSE:EL) and Cablevision Systems Corporation (NYSE:CVC) in each case to install the Company's state-of-the-art PickRite(R) inventory/pick-to-light systems for their distribution centers in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, respectively. The PicRite system is one of the foremost tools in the world for improving high unit volume inventory management. Vertex also received an additional order from the Antioch Company to install a Warehouse Management System (WMS). Antioch has selected Vertex's WMS solutions for its use in its inventory distribution facilities in Minnesota, Nevada and Virginia. The Company's high-end WMS inventory management systems are designed to provide high visibility, speed and accuracy in distribution operations. The numerous benefits of Vertex's WMS systems include reduced costs, less inventory required in the supply chain, greater customer responsiveness and increased sales and profitability. Additionally, Vertex received orders from two prominent European companies, Express Dairies plc and Imperial Tobacco Limited plc. Express Dairies ordered the Company's proprietary route management software and systems, to an additional 700 users in Ireland. In addition, Imperial Tobacco plc, will equip its 400 member sales force with mobile computing systems and peripherals to automate its sales force in the field.
