Vertellus Specialties to expand Greensboro facility.Vertellus Specialties, Inc., Indianapolis, IN, has announced plans to expand its existing Greensboro, NC, facility. Vertellus is a new specialty chemicals company formed through the combination of Reilly Industries' Morflex, Inc. and Rutherford Chemicals LLC (Logical Link Control) See "LANs" under data link protocol.LLC - Logical Link Control CasChem operating units. The facility expansion will include a new, state-of-the-art specialty derivatives manufacturing plant and formulation technology center. It will be equipped with cGMP capabilities and produce specialty castor and shea butter derivatives, formulations, and polymer systems used to create naturally derived sealants, coatings, inks, lubrication lubrication, introduction of a substance between the contact surfaces of moving parts to reduce friction and to dissipate heat. A lubricant may be oil, grease, graphite, or any substance—gas, liquid, semisolid, or solid—that permits free action of , and adhesives.
