Gendron, Inc., introduces the Beta by [Gendron.sup.TM] CArm Procedural Stretcher stretcher /stretch·er/ (strech´er) a contrivance for carrying the sick or wounded.

, part of Gendron's new family of x-ray capable, full-featured stretchers. It eliminates the time and effort of multiple patient transfers by integrating imaging funtions with diagnostic and treatment procedures.

A patented composite carbon-fiber top provides excellent radiolucent radiolucent /ra·dio·lu·cent/ (ra?de-o-loo´sent) permitting the passage of radiant energy, such as x-rays, with little attenuation, the representative areas appearing dark on the exposed film.  equivalency of 0.2mm of aluminum. The radiolucent top, which permits AP and lateral imaging, supplies 58" imaging coverage and panning capability with 10" longitudinal movement, while the Procedural Stretcher's generous 48' x 34" frame opening easily accommodates a C-Arm for fluoroscopic Fluoroscopic (fluoroscopy)
