Veros Appoints Industry Veteran as New Vice President of Business Development.

SANTA ANA, Calif. -- Veros Real Estate Solutions, a proven leader in enterprise risk management and collateral valuation services, today announced the company has hired industry veteran Sue Potteiger as its new vice president of business development. In this role Potteiger will lead the company's business development efforts, contribute to product development, and identify new areas of opportunity for current Veros products in collateral risk management.

Potteiger brings almost 25 years of experience to Veros, with the majority of that tenure in senior executive positions. Prior to joining Veros, she was president and CEO of American Reporting Company, LLC, (ARC) where she helped grow the business from a successful credit reporting company to a dynamic regional service provider of settlement services to the mortgage lending community. Before ARC, Potteiger was senior vice president and chief appraiser for Washington Mutual Bank, where she designed and implemented an Internet-based collateral valuation management system, developed and implemented AVM testing procedures, vigorously pursued and implemented AVM cascade strategies, and maintained collateral risk and appraisal policies and procedures for the bank. During this time Potteiger managed a staff in excess of 700 appraisers and technical employees that produced appraisal reports in 50 states. Prior to Washington Mutual, Potteiger was the owner of The Appraisal Group of Kirkland, where she developed an employee-based operating model that treated appraisers as employees -- not independent contractors.
