Vermont American Inc.

BOONE -- A tool manufactuer left groundwater polluted, but the site will become a 65,000-square-foot office complex, thanks to a state program that resurrects contaminated tracts. Local businessman Glen Wilde has received approval for the town's first brownfield development -- two three-story buildings for medical and other offices. They will be built on 5.2-acre Vermont American Inc. site.
