Verizon Wireless Now on the Federal Supply Schedule With the General Services Administration.
"Listing on the schedule enables all federal agencies, authorized government contractors, tribal governments, agency-sponsored universities and laboratories as well as state and local government entities to purchase Verizon Wireless' superior products and services at a negotiated discount rate," said Mike Maiorana, vice president of Federal Government Sales Operations for Verizon Wireless. "In addition, we will provide unparalleled support of these agencies from our dedicated federal government sales operations organization in Laurel, Md."
A specialized government account team with dedicated sales, operations and customer support staff for government agencies will assist in maximizing efficiency and productivity for agencies choosing wireless voice and data solutions on the nation's largest, most reliable wireless network.
"Verizon Wireless and our predecessor companies have done business with the government for more than 20 years. The Federal Supply Schedule will now give government agencies a direct procurement vehicle for obtaining voice and data services on Verizon Wireless' nationwide network," said Maiorana. "With a competitive pricing structure, dedicated sales and customer support, we are ready to service the accounts with the type of quality they expect from Verizon Wireless."
