Located in the booming Austin hi-tech area, the facility combines sophisticated technology infrastructure with high-end hosting services to meet customers' advanced online business needs. The Austin data center includes:

- Enhanced security systems: These systems include 24x7 security guard service
at the front door and on the premises, a required biometric hand scan into a
Man Trap for controlled entrance and exit, videocameras throughout the
facility, and individual keys for customer cabinets, cages or private rooms to
ensure security.

- 24x7 technical staff on call: A multimillion-dollar management system will be
in place allowing Verio staff the ability to monitor the facility, network and
equipment from the central management center in Dallas. Customers can also
monitor their servers remotely using the management system via a web interface
available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

- Fire suppression: The data center has a multi-level fire detection and
suppression system to help detect potential fires before they start. The system
uses gas instead of water, which can extinguish fires without damage to
customer equipment.

- Redundant power system: A continuous power supply ensures that the facility
has fully redundant power capabilities.

- Environmental monitoring: This critical system oversees proper functioning of
the air conditioning, water detection and humidity controls.

- Managed services: Beginning in December, the data center will offer
individual and bundled managed services that customers can utilize depending on
their capabilities, needs and budget. From managed monitoring to data backup
