Veridien Corporation (OTCBB:VRDE), has signed contracts and/or entered into agreements with multi-national and major distributors to introduce and market the next generation of its patented line of ready-to-use disinfectant and antiseptic products for the first responders, medical, dental, janitorial/sanitation and institutional markets.

Viraguard(R) was formulated to be an environmentally compatible and effective solution for the disinfection of hard inanimate surfaces, under its EPA disinfectant registration, as well as being a safe and effective hand sanitizer, under its FDA drug listing as an OTC antimicrobial product.

The patented product Viraguard(R) formulation utilizes Isopropanol (Isopropyl Alcohol) in its optimum concentration, combined with other ingredients, to meet both EPA and FDA requirements, without the need for harmful or residue-producing chemicals. A mild citrus scent makes Viraguard(R) ideal for use in hospitals, private practice offices, ambulances, police, fire and paramedic vehicles, nursing homes and anywhere that disinfection and antisepsis are critical. In vitro testing of Viraguard(R) has led to the EPA permitting new and expanded efficacy claims for the product, including effectiveness against many of the microorganisms presenting risks to health care workers, first responders, and the public, as well as meeting the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standard. Based upon recent testing, requests for further label amendments are underway which if and when approved by EPA would allow for further label representations. Viraguard(R) Hospital Disinfectant Towelettes constitute a broad spectrum, one-step, cleaning/disinfecting system that is effective against gram positive and gram negative bacteria, including resistant strains such as MRSA and VRE, encapsulated bacteria such as Tuberculosis producing Mycobacterium bovis (BCG), Trichophyton mentagrophytes fungus, Herpes simplex, and HIV-1 (the AIDS virus). Isopropyl alcohol is similarly recognized for its safety and efficacy as an antiseptic skin cleanser complying with the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standard and the Centre for Disease Control (CDC) Guideline for Hand Hygiene in Health Care Settings. The emollient in the patented Viraguard(R) formulation retards evaporation, considerably increasing the effective time for the alcohol to work on the surface of the hands, while preserving moisture, and helping to prevent drying of the skin.
