Veridian Homes Sets Benchmark With Forty-Three Percent Energy-Efficient Home; Part of U.S. Department of Energy, Building America Program.


MADISON, Wis. -- Veridian Homes unveiled its ultra-energy-efficient Welcome Home today at an invitation-only Talk & Tour for local and national industry executives, government officials and environmentalists. The Welcome Home, an innovative new concept home, boasts energy savings of over 43 percent, or approximately $1,000, compared to a standard Wisconsin home built to code.
