Veraz Announces North American Distribution Agreement With Global Energy and Technology.

Supports Veraz' Distribution Efforts Into Tier 1 Carriers and Government

(NASDAQ:VRAZ), a leading global provider of IP softswitch and media gateway solutions, announced that a new distribution agreement has been signed with Global Energy and Technology, Inc., a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOB). Global Energy and Technology is a leading distributor of connectivity and convergence technology products, with established sales channels into Tier 1 U.S. carriers as well as the Federal Government.

Under the terms of the agreement, Global Energy and Technology will distribute Veraz's I-Gate 4000[TM] Media Gateways. These gateways enable carriers to bridge the gap between legacy TDM networks and next-generation VoIP networks, while providing industry-leading voice quality while optimizing bandwidth at rates of 12 to 1. By combining high-quality performance, scalability and reliability with open standards-based interfaces, the I-Gate 4000 helps carriers meet constantly-evolving market demands.
