Venus Williams Venus Ebone Starr Williams (born June 17, 1980 in Lynwood, California) is an American professional tennis player. She has been ranked the world's No. 1 female tennis player. 2012, the committee leading New York's bid to host the Olympic Games in 2012, will offer Olympians and Paralympians the opportunity to stay at the apartment and offer feedback on their experience at the proposed site of New York's Olympic Village.

Located at the Avalon Riverview building in Queens West, the apartment is adjacent to the site of the proposed Olympic Village in 2012's Bid plan, and includes spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline, including the United Nations.

The apartment, with furnishings donated by Crate&Barrel, embodies Williams' passion for interior design and experience as an athlete to create a relaxing and inspirational environment. In addition to the comfortable and modern furnishings from Crate & Barrel's new CB2 line, the space is decorated with images of great Olympians such as Nadia Comaneci scoring the first perfect ten in women's gymnastics at Madison Square Garden Coordinates:
