Angela Marcela Velasquez and Jeffrey Dennis McRae were married in the afternoon of Saturday, October 15, 2005, at the historical Cathedral of Saint Peter the Apostle in downtown Jackson. The ceremony was officiated by Father Brian Kaskie.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edison Velasquez. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Watson and the late Dennis McRae. He is the grandson of Mrs. Genelle McRae and the late John McRae Sr. and Mrs. Hildred Taylor and the late Paul Taylor and the late Robert Chambers.
