Veeco introduces new MS-50 leak detector; Extended range mass spectrometer leak detector for automatic, gross and fine leak testing.PLAINVIEW, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 8, 1996--Veeco Instruments Inc. is introducing the MS-50, the company's newest dual sector mass spectrometer leak detector for a variety of production applications. The MS-50's unique design provides the highest resolution and greatest accuracy in the industry. Veeco has the world's largest installed base of leak detection systems for industrial, laboratory and cleanroom applications. The MS-50 is designed for use in a broad range of manufacturing environments including industrial, electronics and semiconductor applications. Users can employ any of three modes of operation for gross, fine or automatic leak testing with the MS-50. Direct flow mode provides greater sensitivity. For faster cycle time, reverse flow mode is suggested. As a third option, the system automatically switches between modes. A built-in CRT (1) (C RunTime) See runtime library.
