Vasogen Inc. announces positive results in Rheumatoid Arthritis.TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 19, 1996--Vasogen Inc., (ME:VAS; OTCBB OTCBB See OTC Bulletin Board (OTCBB). :VSOGF) today announced the results of a retrospective analysis of the effects of VasoCare(tm) therapy in 30 patients with active Rheumatoid Arthritis. The results show a statistically significant improvement in key clinical and laboratory parameters of disease activity. The patients, all treated and monitored by a senior physician in Essen, Germany, over a 2-15 month period, reported sustained improvement in arthritic symptoms and general well being (p<0.0001).
