Vantex Resumes Exploration Works on the Lake Expanse Gold Zone.

LA PRAIRIE, Quebec -- The management of Vantex Resources Ltd announces that exploration works on the Lake Expanse zone of the Guillet property, have resumed. They will consist of a drilling campaign on Zone A, bulk sampling of Zone 70 and the evaluation of the gold ounces available near surface of Zone BC. The works are under the supervision of Mr. Daniel Kelly, independent consulting engineer, and assays will be performed at Laboratoire Expert Inc., of Rouyn-Noranda.

Drilling program of Zone A.

The drilling program of Zone A of the Lake Expanse zone will test the in-depth extensions. Previous drilling done between 1940 and 1945 intersected this zone at vertical depth down to 120 metres but no drill holes were performed deeper.

Otherwise, these drill holes will also test the continuity of another gold structure identified on surface by striping, less than 30 metres East of Zone A. A 1.1-metre channel sample previously returned a spectacular grade of 334 grams of gold in this new structure. The 1,500-metre program should be completed by the end of November 2004.

Blasting of zone LE03-70

The company blasted Zone LE03-70 at the intersection of two sheared and mineralized structures oriented NW-SE and NE-SW. A zone of brecciated quartz mineralized with pyrrhite, pyrrhotine and galena was observed on fresh surfaces. This zone seems to match the mineralization intersected in drill hole LE03-70 which returned grades of 41 g/mt Au on 13 metres. The management of the company thinks that the intersection of these sheared gold structures corresponds to a tube of highly enriched gold, and to verify this hypothesis, more drill holes will be done at the intersection of these structures. These drill holes should define gold resources available from this zone and could, eventually, be extracted by thermal fragmentation.

Thermal fragmentation of zone BC.

A program of shallow drill holes is planned on Zone BC to evaluate gold resources available between 0 and 25 metres in-depth in order to proceed with a thermal fragmentation bulk sampling test. If results are positive, this will enable the company to generate cash flows and therefore minimize dilution. Management is confident to obtain excellent results since previous drill holes and channel samples showed a continuous gold mineralization near surface, for this important gold zone.

James Bay property

The management of Vantex also announces the acquisition of 100% of a 780-hectare property in the James Bay area in exchange of 40,000 Vantex common shares. This property, named Ana, is located on the West frontier of the Eleonore project, zone Roberto and Roberto-East, of Virginia Gold Mines inc., which recently announced an important gold discovery in this area (see Virginia press releases dated October 4 and November 1st2004).

Vantex could eventually do a joint-venture to explore this new gold area.

This transaction is subject to the approval of the regulatory authorities.

Guillet property

The Guillet property is comprised of 95 mining claims covering an area of 3,800 acres and is located less than 5 kilometres from the town of Belleterre, Temiscamingue, Quebec. The property contains many gold zones, mainly the important Lake Expanse zone, located in the middle of the property.

Vantex owns 100% of this property.
