Vantex Reports Drill Results for the Lake Expanse Zone.

LA PRAIRIE, Quebec -- Vantex (TSX VENTURE:VTX) management is pleased to announce that it has intersected the important Lake Expanse gold zone in a majority of the 18 drill holes recently completed between zone A and zone BC. The initial assay results confirm, once again, the excellent mining potential of this significant gold zone.

The current drilling campaign was done under the supervision of Mr. Daniel Kelly, independent consulting engineer and Qualified Person.

Lake Expanse gold zone (Zone A, AB, B and BC)

From the first 7 drill holes completed between zone A and zone B, 5 returned highly economical gold grades. Two other drill holes completed in the South extension of zone A did not return significant values. Additional assay results from drill holes LE04-86 to LE04-98 should be available in the coming weeks.

Vantex completed 1,500 meters of drilling as of June 11. Assays were performed at Laboratoire Expert Inc., of Rouyn-Noranda, under the supervision of Mr. Joe Landers.

Management will resume drilling as soon as the current drilling results compilation is completed, around mid-July.

LE04-70 gold zone (Zone D).

Vantex management also announces that it intersected, in drill holes LE04-90, LE04-91 and LE04-92, the gold zone discovered in February with drill hole LE04-70. Visible gold was observed in two of these three drill holes. However, the initial partial assay results obtained were judged disapointing by management and tend to foresee a nugget effect during these assays. Therefore, management decided to proceed with additional gravimetric assays in different laboratories namely, ALS Chemex Chimitec of Val D'Or and Swastika Laboratories in Ontario, in order to obtain the most accurate results for this new gold zone, located West of the important Lake Expanse gold zone. These results should be available within a week.

The maping of the stripping completed on surface near drill hole LE04-70 (Zone D) revealed that this zone is located at the intersection of at least two gold structures. A structure oriented NW-SE that touches a structure oriented NE-SW. The preliminary report of a mineragraphic study completed by the URSTM last May, under the supervision of MM. Jean Lelievre, ing.,M.Sc and Mostafa Benzaazoua, Ph.D., of the Abitibi-Temiscamingue College, on samples from drill hole LE04-70 (24 kg, samples 12157 to 12166) concludes that the observed gold from these samples comes from two distinct categories. The observations from drill holes LE04-90, LE04-91 and LE04-92 confirm the presence of two types of gold-bearing quartz, namely a translucid smoky quartz and a saccharoide textured translucid quartz.

These shear zones are more or less altered and mineralized (quartz veins containing from 1 to 15 % of pyrite-pyrrhotine and traces of sphalerite, chalcopyrite, galene and free gold).

"This new zone seems to be less important compared to the Lake Expanse zone and could represent a local enrichment " says Mr. Denis Belisle.

Guillet property, maping.

In addition to the drilling and stripping campaign completed on zone A and zone D (LE04-70), the company also hired Mr. Francois Roy, an independant consulting geologist, to do a geological survey of the entire Guillet property which includes 95 claims covering an area of 3,800 acres. These geological works revealed many more gold indicators namely, the frontier zone where a chosen sample returned more than 97 grams of gold per ton and also the Jolette zone, located near Lac Guillet, which returned more than 8 grams of gold per ton, 7 ounces of silver and 1.09% copper.

The Guilet property is located 5 kilometrers east of the town of Belleterre, in Temiscamingue, Quebec and 2 kilometers South of the former Belleterre mine, which produced more than 2 million tons at more than 10 gr/t Au.
