Vantex Confirms the 70 Gold Zone Potential.

LA PRAIRIE, Quebec -- Vantex Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:VTX) is very pleased to present the results of the last diamond drill campaign done on the Lake Expanse gold showing of the Guillet Property. Sixteen holes were completed for a total of 1,189 meters including six holes on the zone D (hole 70 area). These work were done under the supervision of Mr. Daniel Kelly, consultant engineer for Vantex Resources Inc. and all gold assays were done by Laboratoires Expert Inc. in Rouyn-Noranda.

In the D-70 zone area, six diamond drill holes were drilled following different azimuth to track this rich mineralized gold zone. We are pleased to tell that the gold bearing veins were followed down to 30 meters vertical depth. Free gold was seen in three holes. The bests results were 19.44 g/mt Au over 1.2 meters including 57,45 g/mt Au over 0.40 meter (hole LE04-124), 8,67 g/mt Au over 2.15 meters including 10.63 g/mt Au over 1.1 meters (hole LE04-125), 7.81 g/mt Au over 2.2 meters (hole LE04-127) and 4.2 g/mt Au over 2 meters (hole LE04-122). Hole LE04-123 had been abandoned when rods were blocked in sand seams at 20 meters. Hole LE04-126 give no significant result.

The Company is very confident with these results which further clarify the extent, depth and concentration of gold bearing material on the Lake Expanse Area. The above assay results help substantiate managements belief that the gold zone encountered around zone 70 is structurally related to the results in Section1+50 West (holes LE03-42, LE03-49, LE03-56, LE04-61, LE04-63) and could prove to be the main source of gold for the entire area explored on the Lake Expanse Area. With these new assays the gold zone around zone 70 can now be confidently extended to at least 30 meters in-depth, with the real potential of further gold discoveries under this depth. Hole LE04-127 intersected the zone at a vertical depth of about 30 meters (7.81 g/mt Au over 2.2 meters along hole) and the hole LE04-61 encountered the gold zone (8.34 g/mt Au over 3.2 meters)at a vertical depth of about 115 meters. If we recall, the discovery of the 70 gold area (zone D) is associated with the hole LE04-70 which intersected a gold bearing grading 40.8 g/mt Au over 13.3 m, along the hole. With more stripping, trenching and drilling done during fall 2004, it appears that the mineralized zones could be associated to the tube-shapedintersection of these structures which is raking to the east. We will note that many sub-horizontal slips were seen in the trench masking the fresh cut of the rock.

We will also note that of the nine hole drilled in the 70 area, six of them (70,91,92,124,125 and 127) were containing free gold. Combine with the observation done by the URSTM (Unite de Recherches et Services en Techniques Minerales) of two types of silver content in the gold grain, we can say that the area was enriched with a second stage of mineralized fluid.

Bulk sampling and thermal fragmentation.

These results further substantiate managements plan to conduct a bulk sample from Zone 70 gold rich area and various known gold bearing zones on the Lake Expanse Area. The bulk sampling will provide the company with valuable data on the mineability and condition of gold bearing zones on the property and could provide a sources of capital from the sale of gold that is extracted from the process. Management looking to start the bulk sampling operations in the spring.

The other nine diamond drill hole were done in the A and A-Southwestto check the lateral extension and the deep extension. A significant result come from the hole LE04-120 at a vertical depth of about 90 meters. The result, 5,46 g/mt Au over 5.15 meters, prove the deep extension potential in the A zone. The results come from de A-SW was no significant but the management is still confident in this gold bearing.

The Vantex management still discuss with Mirabel Resources Inc. (RMB) to use thermal fragmentation method in the secondary gold rich zone.

Guillet property

The property includes 95 claims covering an area of 3,800 acres. Guillet is located five kilometers from the town of Belleterre, in Temiscamingue, Que. Accessible year-round by a gravel road which, to the south and east, borders the former Belleterre mine. Belleterre produced more than 2.2 millions tons grading over 10 grams per ton Au between 1940 to 1960. The Lake Expanse main zone is located less than two kilometers south of the former mine. West of the Guillet property, the Aubelle mine produced 330,000 tons grading 3.6 grams per ton Au.

Other historical drill holes located on the Guillet property to the north and east of the Lake Expanse main zone also show an interesting potential for gold. Those holes intersected gold structures with grades varying from 8.6 to 14.9 grams per ton Au on thickness from 1.5 to 2.3 meters. An other historical drill hole located east of Guillet Lake intersected an "input" anomaly containing chalcopyrite and pyrotite, returned 1.5 grams per ton Au on two meters. More to the south, 300 meters south of the Lake Expanse main zone, a historical drill hole that returned 4.5 grams per ton Au on 1.6 meters also shows an interesting gold target.

Vantex Resources Inc. owns 100 per cent of the Guillet property.

Heva property

The resource estimate done by Soquem (Societe quebecoise d'exploration miniere) in 1981 gave 618,272 metric tons grading 5.83 grams per tonne gold (680,100 tons grading 0.17 ounce per ton gold). A more recent economic evaluation completed in 1984 by Jean Descarreaux & Associes, of Val d'Or, estimated reserves of 717,356 metric tons at 5.47 grams per tonne gold (790,526 tons grading 0.16 ounce per ton gold). Ore material previously processed from the Heva mine has demonstrated that this deposit does not have problems related to the presence of arsenopyrite and has a gold recovery rate of 97 per cent to 99 per cent by cyanide process.
