Vantex Acquires 100% of the Heva Gold Deposit.

LA PRAIRIE, Quebec -- The management of Vantex Resources (TSX VENTURE:VTX) is very pleased to announce the acquisition of 100% of the Heva mine, located 20 km East of Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec. This property consists of two lots in the Joannes township covering an area of 200 acres (80 hectares) and was acquired from 5 local prospectors for a total amount of $ 322,000 ($ 50,000 cash plus 800,000 Vantex common shares at a price of $ 0.34 per share) and a 1.75 % NSR. The shares will be subject to a 4-month minimum hold period and the transaction is subject to the approval of regulatory authorities.

The Heva property.

The Heva Mine is located in the Joannes township, 20 kilometres East of Rouyn-Noranda and is accessible by provincial route 117. Located near the Cadillac fault, a major fault associated with many Gold mines in the area; the Doyon, the La Ronde and the Lapa. The Heva property consists of two lots covering an area of 200 acres (80 hectares) and includes gold resources accessible by a 243-meter vertical shaft (built in 1987) and by more than 1,000 metres of galleries and crosscuts.

The resource estimate done by SOQUEM (Societe quebecoise d'exploration miniere) in 1981 gave 618,272 metric tons grading 5.83 gr Au/mt (680,100 tons grading 0.17 oz Au/ton). A more recent economic evaluation completed in 1984 by Jean Descarreaux & Associes, of Val D'or, estimated reserves of 717,356 metric tons at 5.47 gr Au/mt (790,526 tons grading 0.16 oz Au/t). Ore material previously processed from the Heva Mine has demonstrated that this deposit doesn't have problems related to the presence of arsenopyrite and has a gold recovery rate of 97 to 99 % by cyanide process.

The drilling done on this property during the last few decades shows very interesting gold potential. Most of the drill holes were done less than 300 metres deep with the objective of defining available resources near surface. One of the drill hole located under the main deposit, 395 metres deep, intersected a porphyric sill containing quartz phenocrystals and feldspath and returned grades of 8.38 gr Au/mt in the last 2 metres of the hole, which could mean that this hole was stopped in the mineralization. The sill also contains many quartz-tourmaline veins in breach zones returning grades of 2 to 2.5 gr Au/mt on widths of 1 to 2 metres, which tends to show in depth gold potential.

Historical data of the Heva property

Discovered in 1944, the Heva gold deposit was exploited on a small scale between 1951 and 1952. More than 30,000 tons of ore were treated at the Powell Rouyn Gold Mines Ltd and returned grades of 0.219 ounces of gold per ton. By then, following a disagreement between the partners (Heva Gold Mines and Powell Rouyn Gold Mines Ltd), the project was abandoned until 1978 when SOQUEM acquired it. From 1978 to 1984, SOQUEM performed different drilling programs. They concluded with resource estimates of 618,272 metric tons grading 5.83 gr Au/mt. In 1984, the expert firm of Jean Descarreaux & Associes, of Val D'or, completed an economic evaluation as well of a gold resource estimate. These were established at 717,356 metric tons grading 5.47 gr Au/mt. In 1985, when creating CAMBIOR, SOQUEM optioned the property to New Goldcore Ventures and Amberquest Resources Ltd, of Vancouver. Many drill holes were done by these companies as well as the completion of a 243-meter vertical production shaft and development of galleries and crosscuts. Some of the drill holes made by this group, close to 400 metres deep in a porphyric sill, intersected sub-economic to economic values, one of which returned grades of 8.38 grAu/mt on 2 metres. In 1999, following an omission from the owners (non-payment of annual fees), the property becomes available and is claimed by a group of 5 prospectors. In 2004, with an improved gold price, Vantex Resources Ltd acquires 100% of the rights to this property with cash and newly issued company common shares.

National Instrument 43-101

Management will order, as soon as possible, a revision of the SOQUEM and Descarreaux estimated resources to comply with National Instrument 43-101. For now, Vantex management has to rely on the SOQUEM and Descarreaux evaluation reports that were then, compliant with the accepted evaluation rules. Another evaluation report completed for New Goldcore Ventures and Amberquest Resources Ltd was not retained by Vantex due to the fact that it included potential resources external to the Heva property.

The application of NI 43-101 will serve as a resource evaluation tool as well as a pre-feasibility study. The company does not guaranty in any way to the investor, that this property will be put into production with the current available gold resources.

Guillet property, Lake Expanse project.

Company management will assess, in the coming weeks, the gold resources contained between 0 and 40 metres, in zones A and BC. The company is currently discussing with Mirabel Resources, a company that holds the rights to a unique "thermal fragmentation" mining technology, in order to do an initial sampling test on the A and BC mineralized zones on the lake Expanse property.

"We closely follow the works currently underway by Mirabel Resources on the Denain property. This new extraction method is characterized by the recovery of surface gold with almost no dilution. This increases the recovered grades and greatly diminishes transport and milling costs. The potential profits generated by this initial evaluation operation would fund the continuation of the Guillet exploration program as well as the start-up of development works on the Heva property." specified Mr. Belisle.

The company also started a stripping program in the South-west part of zone A of the Lake Expanse main zone. This new zone located 150 metres South-west of the main zone, previously returned economical gold values in channel samples and justifies additional exploration.
