Vantage Commercial changes name to Vantage Software Technologies, acquires AnswerWorks.

Vantage Commercial, a Philadelphia-based company that provides business-to-business linguistic-based technology and search solutions, has announced that its company name has been changed to Vantage Software Technologies (VST). VST provides for companies a suite of text processing products, such as spell checking and grammar checking, as well as natural language search technology.

Most recently, the company announced its acquisition of AnswerWorks from WexTech Systems, Inc. AnswerWorks is a question-and-answering engine that companies can add to the "Help" section on their Web sites. AnswerWorks allows customers to get answers to questions phrased in everyday language.
