Vanco Appoints New CEO for Its Asia-Pacific Business.

 -- Vanco, the pioneering global Virtual Network Operator, today announced that Diarmid Massey has been appointed as new CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Diarmid will be based in Tokyo, and will work with the established Asia-Pacific teams to further increase sales and operational support both in Japan, and throughout the whole region. Both, the Singapore general manager, Hong Meng Lee Meng Lee is currently a Technical Contributor at Hewlett-Packard Research Labs. While originally a compiler engineer, Lee joined Alexander Stepanov to work on generic algorithms in 1992. , and Grant Ellison, general manager Australia will report to Diarmid.

Originally from the UK, Diarmid has been based in a number of countries within the Asia Pacifc region over the past 20 years. His recent senior management roles included NexTone, a specialist VoIP solutions provider, and wholesale carrier ITXC (Internet Telephony Exchange Carrier Corporation, Princeton, NJ, www.itxc.com) The largest IP exchange carrier in the world. ITXC was acquired by wholesale telco provider Teleglobe Bermuda Ltd. in 2004 and then by Videsh Sanchar Nigam Ltd. , which was acquired by India's leading telecom provider, VSNL VSNL Videsh Sanchar Nigam Limited (India) .
