Vance Publishing Corporation Announces the Formation of Vance Internet LLC.

WILLIAM C. VANCE, chairman of Vance Publishing Corp., publisher of Wood & Wood Products, has announced the formation of Vance Internet LLC to provide funding for, and to aid in the development of, Web-based initiatives in the industries that Vance serves.

Privately held Vance Publishing is based in Lincolnshire, IL, with 27 leading publications in various industries including livestock, produce, trucking, credit reporting, flowers, crops, seafood, woodworking, plastics, salons and home decor.

Leonard Timm has been named president and CEO of Vance Internet. He has served with Vance Publishing for 14 years. Prior to his current appointment, he managed Vance's credit reporting products. More recently, Timm was director of information technology.
