Van Kampen California Value Municipal Income Trust Announces Completion of Reorganization with Van Kampen California Quality Municipal Trust.

CHICAGO -- Van Kampen Asset Management announced today that the proposed reorganization of Van Kampen California Quality Municipal Trust (NYSE/CHX: VQC) into Van Kampen California Value Municipal Income Trust (NYSE/CHX: VCV) has been completed. In the reorganization, shareholders of VQC received newly issued shares of VCV. The conversion exchange rate (the rate by which one multiplies the amount of VQC common shares to determine the number of VCV common shares issued as part of the reorganization) was 0.976400, and the exchange ratio between preferred shares of VQC and preferred shares of VCV was one VQC preferred share into one VCV preferred share.
