Affiliates of Value Companies originally purchased the asset 18 years ago, in 1989, and have significantly enhanced its value by repositioning what was previously a dated auto care facility into a vibrant neighborhood retail center. The center includes popular retail chains such as Kentucky Fried Chicken Fried chicken is chicken which is dipped in a breading mixture and then deep fried, pan fried or pressure fried. The breading seals in the juices but also absorbs the fat of the fryer, which is sometimes seen as unhealthy.  and Dairy Queen Dairy Queen (also known as DQ) is an ice-cream shop and fast-food restaurant franchise based in the United States and founded in 1940.
