Valpey Fisher Launches VFOV110 Reference Oscillator; New OXCO provides ultra low phase noise, and high output frequency for satellite, point to point radio and base station applications.HOPKINTON, Mass. -- Valpey Fisher Corporation (AMEX AMEX See: American Stock Exchange :VPF VPF vascular permeability factor; see vascular endothelial growth factor, under factor. ), a world leader in low noise timing solutions today launched its VFOV110 low noise reference clock. The VFOV110 OCXO OCXO Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillator OCXO Oven Compensated Crystal Oscillator features a phase noise floor of -170 dBc/Hz@100 KHz, and is designed for specific applications in satellite communications, point to point radio, synthesizer reference and base stations. The new VFOV110 is an addition to the Valpey Fisher Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillator (OCXO) product line. The VFOV110 features a frequency range from 25 MHz to 135MHz, with a 1W power consumption within a small, low profile SMD (1) (Storage Module Device) A high-performance hard disk interface used with minis and mainframes that transfers data in the 1-4 MBytes/sec range (SMD-E provides highest rate). See hard disk. package. The VFOV110 is on display at the IEE-MTT International Microwave Symposium in San Francisco, June 13th-15th.
